Project Snapshot
- Type: Website design
- Context: Redesign concept for veterinary hospital website
- Role: UX/UI Designer
- Tools: Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Deliverables: Responsive home, services, about, and contact pages, wireframes, and visual system
Overview
I redesigned Purrfectly Peppy Pet Veterinary Hospital as a responsive website concept focused on accessibility, usability, and a more compassionate brand experience. The project centers on helping pet owners find essential information quickly while making the practice feel clear, calm, and trustworthy

Challenge
The existing site needed stronger functionality, clearer branding, and a more accessible user experience. The redesign also had to support both routine care and after-hours needs, which meant reducing friction for users who may already be stressed or short on time.
The original website highlighted opportunities to improve navigation, clarity, and accessibility:
Audience
The core audience is pet owners looking for services, appointment details, contact information, and reassurance across desktop and mobile. Because veterinary sites often serve time-sensitive needs, the experience had to privilege clarity over visual clutter.
Supporting research and design decisions are documented in a project presentation, which can be viewed below.

Approach
I organized the site around four high-priority pages: home, services, about, and contact. I used wireframes, clear hierarchy, repeated calls to action, and a softer visual tone to make navigation easier before refining imagery and brand styling

Solution
The final concept combines responsive layouts, scannable service information, and prominent pathways to booking and contact. A consistent header, clearer sectioning, and a more welcoming palette make the system feel more usable and more cohesive from page to page.

Outcome
This redesign now has faster access to key tasks, stronger trust through consistent branding, and a more usable experience across devices for people seeking care information quickly. A veterinary website should feel reassuring before a user reads a single line. I designed this one to reduce friction and build trust from the first click.
